I have included a beach theme cosmetics bag for those of us wishing for a vacation, a Moda charm pack with guess what? 30 charms! Ha!, a wonder wallet for those of us wishing for more money these days and some cupcake erasers and pencils since I can't send my mom's famous filled cupcakes. You should be jeaous because they are yummy just like Hostess only better!! She has made them for my sister and I only on our birthdays since I was in kindergarten for treats. This made me a very popular child back then!!
Here is my little sis at our sister sew in from last Saturday night. Notice her pants. I had matching ones that my gram had made for us to wear at our sister sew in nights. Such fun! Well until next time when I will be a little older.....LesleyAnn

Happy day to you!!!I will be 30 on Nov.9th!!! I feel a little depressed by it but I just had a baby and really have no time to feel as sorry for myself as I would.Lovely gifts!!! Hope you get some pretty things for your Birthday!
Back....15 years ago when I was turning 30...I was SO EXICTED because I had been practicing with a women's soccer team again. (I had played two years on my High School team.) I LOVED playing again, 2 nights week, with "soccer moms" (only I wasn't a mom, yet). Although I had practiced for several months with the team, I couldn't play in the games because I wasn't officially on the team since I was under 30! So as soon as I turned 30 I could REALLY play with them! Although I wasn't in my best of shapes...I was in pretty darn good shape running all over the field 2 nights a week and sometimes hiking on the weekends and going to the gym! I would love to be 30 again with that ENERGY! And even if I know that I could be in that kind of shape again...I simply don't have that kind of time anymore! MOVE YOUR BODY WHILE it's YOUNG! (and before you have kids!)

I felt so depressed when I became 30. Becoming 30 for me was becoming old. I think it is different for men and women.Women are thinking that they are getting old, men are thinking that they are becoming interesting (lol, only if they are becoming whealthy too)
But I do not feel old, I feel really good! It is the best time, I've ever had, and I would not change anything! I would'nt want to be 20 again.(Hmmm, if I could have the shape of my body with 20....). And the 31st birthday is much easier.

Well, I do remember I was thinking it had to be weird for my mother that her little girl was getting so old! :D And now my oldest son is 31, time goes fast. I think life has just got better for each year, so don't worry! Happy birthday1
I am like Marit, but it was 36 yrs ago. I do remember turning 30 because I was a single mom with 2 boys. I remember that I wanted to do better with the next part of my life and I didn't feel old. I was happy that I had a job, a roof over my head, and food in our bellies. That wasn't easy at the time when you were a single mom.
